Our commitment to your privacy
Airtime Recharge Scanner ("the App") is developed and published by Bingwa Flash. This policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and what we do not do with it.
The App is a local utility. Its core purpose is to help you scan airtime voucher digits and run USSD recharge codes on your device. Most functionality works entirely on-device with no server communication.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to remote servers. Your voucher digits, history, and SIM preferences stay on your device.
Camera use
The App requests camera permission to scan airtime voucher cards and printed voucher lists. Camera access is used exclusively for digit recognition within the App.
Camera access is only active while the scanner screen is open and in use. The App does not take photos or record video. Camera frames are processed on-device for text/digit recognition only and are immediately discarded.
What we collect and why
The App does not collect personal information. No accounts are required, no email or phone number is captured, and no data is sent to remote servers.

- SIM preferences and USSD templates — stored locally in app preferences
- Carrier settings you configure — stored locally on-device only
All stored data lives on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data. We have no access to your voucher history, recharge records, or settings.
How data is stored
The App uses Android's standard local storage mechanisms to persist your settings and voucher history between sessions. This data is private to the App and is not accessible to other apps or to Bingwa Flash.
You can clear all App data at any time through Android Settings → Apps → Airtime Recharge Scanner → Storage → Clear Data. This will delete your voucher history, saved vouchers, and all preferences.
Recharge actions
When you choose to run a recharge, the App constructs a USSD string using your entered voucher digits and your selected carrier template, then triggers it through your device's dialer. This is the same as manually dialing a USSD code yourself.
The App always shows a confirmation step before running any USSD code. You can review, edit, or cancel the action before proceeding. No USSD action is triggered without your explicit confirmation.
USSD recharge actions interact with your mobile carrier's network directly via your SIM. Any charges or recharge outcomes are between you and your carrier. Bingwa Flash is not responsible for carrier responses or recharge outcomes.
Third-party services
The App does not integrate analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services that transmit personal data off-device.
The App is distributed through Google Play. Google's Play Store policies and privacy terms apply to the download and installation process. We do not receive any personally identifying information from Google as part of this distribution.

Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used this App in a way that raises a privacy concern, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If the changes are material, we will note this in the App's Play Store listing.
